Behind the scenes.

Welcome To The Table is a worship song written by Steve Stepec. It focuses on themes of love, community, and faith. Steve came to me with an idea for a music video, and I dived straight in.

Since this project was the first official music video I had created, I wanted to learn as much as I could. I spent a lot of pre-production gathering inspiration by watching music videos. Steve and I discussed a lot of elements we wanted included in the video, and I made a shot list to support our ideas. We planned production design, location, and the story.

On a blistery winter day in February of 2025, I filmed the music video. I shot everything on my Canon 90D on a sigma 14-35 mm lens. We did not have much access to lighting equipment, but utilized natural light to the best of our ability. The actors were very willing to work with Steve and me, and the production went super smoothly.

The editing process went well, with no major hiccups. I colored the entire video, having a few issues due to the mixing of color temperatures in the footage, but was able to complete the video a few months after the shoot.

Overall, it was a great first experience shooting a music video, I learned a lot, and I hope to make many more.
