In the spring of 2025, a couple came to me with a request: to make a recap video of their special day. Their wedding videographer had bailed out of the editing process, and they were left with mounds of footage filmed for their wedding several years ago. Thrilled to help out, I talked with them about the elements they wanted in the video, as well as their vision for it. After familiarizing myself with their goals, I negotiated a price, received the drive, and got to work!

Over the next several months, I carefully crafted a seven and a half minute video highlighting all of the details of the special day. The beginning opened with shots of the venue, then transitioned into special moments between the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready. The first looks were next, as well as the reading of the vows, which I included sound bytes of. The ceremony followed, with the most important parts included. Then a mirage of beautiful shots of the bride and groom, focusing on their special love and giving the viewer an intimate look into their relationship. Next came the fun shots with the wedding party celebrating the happy couple. The reception naturally followed, with speeches sprinkled in. Finally, the first dances and the evening of dancing concluded the video. The video intentionally followed the day's events sequentially, telling the story of the day in a pure and clean fashion. I added in audio pieces from the speeches all throughout the video, adding substance and value to the video. I also took time to color the film, correcting it so that everything was connected, then grading it to look stylized and professional.

By cutting out the fluff, but keeping in the most precious moments, I was able to articulate a beautiful story of the Fraire's wedding. I am so happy with the end product, and grateful for the opportunity to create such an important video for the bride and groom!
